The Luxury Store Shop
Last updated: October 31, 2026

The Luxury Store Shop ("we", "us" or "our") operates theluxurystore.shop, powered by Shopify. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information when you visit our website, buy from us, create an account or contact us. It also explains your choices and privacy rights.

For information about how Google processes data from businesses using its services, visit Google's Business Data Responsibility page. The Google services section below explains their potential use on our store.

This policy describes our practices; it does not replace consent where consent is required. Visiting our website does not, by itself, constitute consent to optional advertising or tracking.

1. Who is responsible for your information?

For processing that we determine, the responsible business and, where applicable, data controller is:

Trading name: The Luxury Store Shop
Legal business name: The Luxury Store LLC
Business address: 730 Lagoon Ave Wilmington, California 90744 US
Website: https://theluxurystore.shop
Privacy contact: support@theluxurystore.shop

Shopify and some other providers may separately act as controllers for particular processing, as explained below and in their privacy notices.

2. Information we collect

The information collected depends on your interactions with us and the features you use:

  • Contact and delivery information: Your name, email address, telephone number, billing address and shipping address.

  • Order and transaction information: Products ordered, purchase amounts, payment status, delivery details, returns, refunds, cancellations and order history.

  • Payment information: Information needed by payment providers to process your payment, together with transaction references and payment confirmations available to us. Payment providers handle the payment credentials you submit through checkout under their own security arrangements. Please do not send payment card details by email.

  • Account information: Account identifiers, login information where applicable, preferences and saved details.

  • Customer communications: Enquiries, messages, reviews, photographs or other information you choose to send us.

  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, identifiers, approximate location inferred from technical information, pages and products viewed, referral sources, cart activity and interactions with our website.

  • Privacy and marketing preferences: Consent records, subscription preferences, opt-out choices and privacy requests.

We obtain information directly from you, automatically through cookies and similar technologies, and from Shopify, payment providers, delivery providers and other providers supporting the services you use. Advertising and analytics partners may also provide information where those features are enabled and permitted.

We do not require unrelated personal information as a condition of checkout.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Process payments, fulfil orders, arrange delivery and manage returns, refunds and cancellations.

  • Provide accounts and customer support, and send order, delivery, security and service communications.

  • Maintain website functionality, remember preferences and improve our shopping experience.

  • Detect fraud, investigate suspicious transactions, protect our customers and secure our services.

  • Understand website performance and measure advertising results, subject to applicable consent requirements.

  • Send marketing and show relevant advertising where permitted and consistent with your choices.

  • Maintain business and tax records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and establish or defend legal claims.

Where European Economic Area or United Kingdom data protection laws apply, our legal bases may include performing a contract or taking steps you request before a contract; complying with legal obligations; legitimate interests such as security, service improvement and responding to enquiries, balanced against your rights; and consent where required, including for certain cookies and marketing. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal.

4. Cookies, pixels and similar technologies

Our store uses cookies and similar technologies. Depending on the features enabled, these support:

  • Essential functions: Shopping carts, checkout, authentication, fraud prevention and privacy preferences.

  • Preferences: Remembering choices such as language or region.

  • Analytics: Understanding visits, shopping activity and website performance.

  • Advertising: Measuring campaign results and, where enabled and permitted, personalising advertisements or reaching previous visitors.

Where required, we obtain consent before placing or accessing non-essential cookies or using information for advertising personalisation. You can manage or withdraw your choices through the cookie or privacy controls provided on our website. If you cannot locate these controls, contact us for assistance.

Browser settings also allow you to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may affect shopping and checkout. Deleting cookies may remove saved preferences, so you may need to make your choices again. An advertising opt-out does not necessarily stop all advertisements; it can limit personalisation.

5. Google services and advertising

Where enabled on our store, services such as Google Analytics and Google Ads may process device identifiers, browser information, website interactions and purchase or conversion events to measure website use and advertising performance. Google and other advertising providers may use first-party and third-party cookies or similar identifiers together for measurement and, where permitted, personalised advertising or remarketing.

The specific services, advertising features and partners in use must be identified in our current cookie disclosures and consent controls. Where a Google advertising feature is not enabled, that feature does not apply to your use of our store.

Where we use enhanced conversions or customer matching, we may transmit customer-provided information, such as an email address or phone number, in a hashed form for matching and advertising measurement or audience purposes, subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements. Hashing does not make this information anonymous.

Google's controls operate alongside our store's privacy choices. Depending on the service and settings, Google may process information on our behalf or for purposes described in its own notices.

6. Who receives personal information?

We disclose information where needed for the purposes described in this policy to:

  • Shopify, which hosts and supports our store.

  • Payment and fraud-prevention providers, to process transactions and help protect against fraud.

  • Delivery, logistics and fulfilment providers, to deliver purchases and handle returns.

  • Technology and support providers, including hosting, communications, customer support and analytics providers.

  • Advertising and marketing partners, where enabled, permitted and consistent with your choices.

  • Professional advisers, authorities and other parties, where necessary to meet legal obligations, obtain advice or protect rights and safety.

  • Parties to a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, subject to applicable safeguards.

We also disclose information when you direct us to do so or give valid consent. Service providers are permitted to process information as authorised by their arrangements with us and applicable law; independently acting providers also explain their processing in their own notices.

We do not sell customer contact lists for money. However, certain advertising disclosures may be considered a "sale", "sharing" or processing for "targeted advertising" under applicable privacy laws even without a monetary payment. Where those activities occur, applicable opt-out rights apply.

7. Shopify's role

Shopify processes information to host the store, support checkout and payments, provide security and deliver other platform services. Where enabled, Shopify enhanced services may use information about interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify to provide features such as personalisation and advertising.

For processing Shopify carries out as an independent controller, Shopify is responsible for addressing the rights applicable to that processing. See the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and Shopify Privacy Portal. You may also contact us about information we control.

8. Marketing and privacy choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the message. For text marketing, where offered, follow the opt-out instructions in the message. Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary order, delivery, security or other service communications.

Where applicable, you can opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising through our Data Sharing Opt-Out page or by emailing support@theluxurystore.shop.

Where required by applicable law, we honour recognised opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control. The scope of a browser-based opt-out may depend on whether we can associate that browser with your account. Other browser "Do Not Track" signals do not necessarily communicate a legally recognised preference.

9. Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including completing transactions, maintaining accounts, meeting tax and recordkeeping obligations, preventing fraud and resolving disputes. Retention depends on the information category, purpose and applicable legal requirements. We may retain a limited suppression record to honour an unsubscribe or opt-out request.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Please avoid sending passwords, full payment card details or unnecessary identity documents by email.

10. International transfers

Shopify and other providers may store or process information in countries outside your country of residence, where privacy laws may differ. Where legally required, transfers are supported by recognised safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or applicable UK transfer mechanisms. Contact us for information about relevant safeguards.

11. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

  • Access personal information and receive information about its use and disclosure.

  • Correct inaccurate information or request deletion.

  • Receive a portable copy of certain information.

  • Restrict or object to certain processing.

  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

  • Opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising.

  • Limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, where applicable.

  • Appeal a privacy request decision and complain to a relevant regulator.

To submit a request, email support@theluxurystore.shop. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity and protect your data. Authorised agents may submit requests where permitted, subject to verification of their authority. We respond within the periods required by applicable law and explain any permitted refusal or extension. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

You may appeal a decision by emailing us with the subject "Privacy request appeal". You may also contact your local data protection authority or other relevant regulator.

12. Children and third-party websites

Our store is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect children's information in circumstances prohibited by applicable law, or knowingly sell or share personal information of individuals under 16. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Links to external websites are provided for convenience. Their operators control their own privacy practices; please review their notices before submitting information.

13. Changes and contact

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services, practices or legal obligations. We will update the date above and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.

For privacy questions, requests or complaints, contact support@theluxurystore.shop or write to the business address in Section 1.
